As a member of the team he traveled throughout the U.S. guest coaching, shooting ads and competing. After high school Kiah lived in Utah, Colorado and California and competed regularly. As a student at his Alma matter, The University of Vermont, he continued to compete as much as possible and was a member of the UVM Snowboard Team. During His Senior year at UVM, Kiah began coaching at Smugglers Notch. He accompanied his athletes to both regional and national contests and helped many of them achieve gold medals in their disciplines.
