Alpine Ski Coach
Title: Alpine Ski Coach

I am a physical therapist and life long skier that was born and raised in Vermont and learned to ski at Smuggler's Notch. I progressed through Smugg's ski school as a member of the Milton Ski Club where I developed technique while skiing the varied terrain that Smugg's has to offer. After attending Husson College in Bangor, ME where I played soccer and skied at Sugarloaf whenever I had a chance, I returned to Vermont and Smugg's with my wife and three children. I began teaching my children with the assistance of Smugg's Mom/Dad and Me program. Off of the snow I work at Northwestern Rehabilitation in the outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine environment. I have attained a Level 1 Ergonomics Assessment Specialist Certification and over the course of my career have done extensive continuing education through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. During the 2013/14 season I had the opportunity to perform a knee injury screening and education program with the U14 Alpine Team at SNSC. This season I am looking forward to my first year coaching at SNSC with the Development Team.
